Scott Horn discovered his passion for leatherwork after inheriting his grandfather's tools. A lifelong creative, Horn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of Kansas in 2004, where he developed a deep appreciation for visual art.
As a self-taught artisan, Horn has spent years cultivating a unique style characterized by intricate illustrations, rich geometric patterns, and the sculptural folding of full-grain, vegetable-tanned cowhide. His work exhibits a playful self-awareness, reimagining traditional forms, engaging with the material itself, and reflecting on culture as a whole.
All of his products are 100% handmade, using naturally tanned leather and eco-friendly oils and finishes.
